[ ]Adoptions
Has your character had kits, who you need some people to play? Are you unable to keep all your characters active, but still want to see them on the site? Are you leaving us and want somebody to have your characters? Post here with links to the profiles of any characters you want somebody to RP, and descriptions of what you have to do to get the character (you might give it to the first replier, or have people audition). Once it's agreed who's getting the character, the old character account should be deleted, and a new account for the character should be made.
You can also ask for somebody to temporarily 'babysit' your character while you're on a long absence, reclaiming your character when you return. This is optional.
On the other hand, if you're looking for a ready-made character to play or want to play a kit character born into the Clans and plots of the site, come here and get yourself a character!

[ ]Kits
Have two characters fallen in love? Providing all mating threads are PG-13, tasteful, fade to black and everything is within the rules, your two cats can have kits. Father and mother must fill out the form found within and staff will reply with the stats of the kits and the kits' birthing dates, which the birthing thread must be started between. If you have bought the right to decide your kits' stats, you can reply yourself with the stats. Once kits have been given stats, RPers can be searched for via Adoptions and their profiles can be created in Character Creation.

[ ]ForeverClan Camp
The camp is situated in a dried up stream bed n the southern edge of the north forest. ForeverClan has dug burrows for dens in the bed, similar to those of rabbits.
00
[ ]North Forest
The most northern part of ForeverClan's territory, the North Forest is inhabited by many different kinds of birds, and has a large population of mice.
00
[ ]The Gazing Pool
Deep in the forests of ForeverClan, there is a small, clear pool shaped like an eye. This is ForeverClan's source of water. It's a very peaceful, pretty place, with sunlight streaming through the leaves and dappling the surface of the water in shades of silver and gold. ForeverClan call it the Gazing Pool because of its eye shape, and also because the story goes that the purple flowers surrounding the pool are the spirits of cats who stood too long at the edge gazing at their reflection - it's a story elders tell kits to teach them not to be vain.
00
[ ]Heart Meadow
Heart Meadow lies at the very heart of ForeverClan territory, hence its name. Its grass is long and soft and in spring or summer pawfuls of grass seeds coat the pelts of anybody who ventures here. ForeverClan's camp is just north of here. This is an excellent place for prey, especially mice, voles or shrews.
00
[ ]The Rocks
East of the Heart Meadow the grass is short and scruffy, with many rocks scattered about and some larger rocky outcroppings which apprentices love to climb, despite more than one falling and having to be covered in cobwebs by the medicine cats. To the east of this area, outside of ForeverClan territory, the rocks begin to rise into mountains; the scattered boulders and crags here are a much smaller reflection of that grey harshness. This is probably the worst area for prey in ForeverClan territory; there are a few mice and small birds, but nothing except that... unless you count the occasional snake.
00
[ ]The Thunderpath Woods
The Thunderpath marks the south-western edge of ForeverClan's territory. Alongside it is a small wood - more of a series of copses, really. Here you can catch squirrels in abundance, but watch out... the Thunderpath is dangerous and has killed cats in the past. Don't risk it!
00
[ ]The Ridge Border
The ridge that separates lake territory from the lands beyond is also the border between DuskClan and ForeverClan. Coming up to the ridge is like a blind summit- it's uphill all the way until you get to the ridge- if you stand on the very edge of the scent line you can see down into DuskClan territory. DuskClan apprentices have a tendency to race along it, and DuskClan warriors like watching the sunrise here- ForeverClan have to enforce the border thoroughly.

Border between: ForeverClan and DuskClan

00
[ ]The Forest Edge Border
ForeverClan's border with the Tribe begins at the easternmost point of ForeverClan territory, continuing north-west along the treeline and in a straight line even when the treeline departs from this line. It's not the clearest border, especially where it departs from the treeline, and ForeverClan can have trouble enforcing it.

N E V E R C L A N . T E R R I T O R Y
[ ]NeverClan Camp
The NeverClan camp is located where the old ShadowClan camp used to be, the location being the best campsite in the area. It's in a shallow hollow beneath pine trees, with a nearby pool for water. NeverClan cat have woven brambles all around, and it's difficult to find and even more difficult to enter if you aren't from NeverClan.
00
[ ]The Upper Forest
The Upper Forest is the band of forest in NeverClan's territory above the Lake area. It's deep, dark and forbidding, and the Higher Cats often meet, accept and train new recruits here. There's not much prey and it isn't particularly comfortable, so most stay away. New NeverClan apprentices are sometimes left here all night to test their 'toughness'.
00
[ ]The Pine Woods
Former ShadowClan territory, the pine woods are dark and bleak, but have their own kind of peace for those who know how to find it. They are inhabited by small mammals, though this area is not the best for prey.
00
[ ]The Twoleg Nest
Formerly in ShadowClan territory, the Twoleg nest is now falling down and very creepy. A bad-tempered Twoleg lives there- he smells even worse than most Twolegs and often can be heard smashing things. Watch out for him- he's killed cats before.
00
[ ]The Riverside
Formerly RiverClan's territory, the river that rushes through the comfortable, forested meadows is now stagnant and slow-moving. No fish live in its poisonous waters; occasionally apprentices torment each other here by holding their weaker peers under the water.
00
[ ]The Lakeside
NeverClan territory extends right down to the sandy, muddy edge of the lake. Most NeverClan cats can't swim, and dislike this area. Mentors make their apprentices train here because of the cold, sticky mud.
00
[ ]Greenleaf Twolegplace
This collection of buildings is often visited by Twolegs during the summer, though less so after a few vicious and unprovoked attacks on Twoleg kits by NeverClan. It extends all the way down to the lakeside, where there's a halfbridge with several 'boats' moored.
00
[ ]The Clearing Border
NeverClan don't always respect their border with DuskClan, but that doesn't mean it isn't well-patrolled. It is along the side of the clearing which was once disputed between ShadowClan and ThunderClan, giving NeverClan a territory that stretches to the treeline on the other side of the clearing, but no further.

Border Between: NeverClan and DuskClan
00
[ ]The Big Thunderpath Border
The big Thunderpath marks the southern and western edges of NeverClan territory. While DawnClan territory lies on the other side of the border, for most of it there's a Twolegplace between the two Clans. The Thunderpath is immeasurably dangerous and quite a few cats have died whilst trying- and failing- to cross.

[ ]DawnClan Camp
The DawnClan camp is tucked in a sheltered hollow in a copse of trees on the cliff overlooking the sun-drown-place. It's beautiful, and the cats like to gather on the edge of the cliff and watch the sunset in the evenings. It's not the most easily defended of camps, but the warriors' love for it makes up for that- they will protect it with their lives. It can get quite windy around it, but inside the copse of trees it's reasonably sheltered, and the hollow is generally warm.

[ ]The Sunfields
The Sunfields are the rolling meadows south of the river. Rich in rabbits and mice, the long grass is brilliant for hiding in, whilst still making the territory feel open and airy. It's DawnClan's main hunting area, making up most of their territory. To the east, the territory's end is marked by a large Thunderpath, whereas to the south-east, there's a large Twolegplace; however, the Twolegs there rarely venture into the Sunfields, seeming to prefer the sun-drown-place.
00
[ ]Rosepetal Woods
This small wood, just south of the river, is full of flowers, especially roses. While this might sound pretty- and is- you'd do well not to forget the thorns. It's great for prey, and shady in summer.

[ ]The Great River
The Great River flows out of NeverClan territory and down to the sun-drown-place. While it's stagnant and slow-moving in NeverClan territory, as it reaches DawnClan's land it's joined by several small tributaries, filtered through a small underground dip, and becomes a clear, swift stream. DawnClan warriors can occasionally catch fish here, but only the truly skilful and patient and most DawnClan warriors cannot master the skill. In some of the slower and more shallow parts, DawnClan apprentices love to mess around in the water and share tongues.

in A light in the darkness.
[ ]The Rocky Meadows
The meadows north of the Great River are barren and rocky, inhabited only by a few scrawny rabbits. North of the Rocky Meadows is a small Twolegplace with a few Twoleg nests and some Thunderpaths. Sometimes you'll find Twolegs here, sitting on big flat nests and eating, with the kits running around; this makes the Rocky Meadows a dangerous place in greenleaf, and for this reason, apprentices are only allowed here in the colder moons. Of course, this is all the reason apprentices need to come here as much as possible. That's not the only reason it's dangerous, though; Twolegs often leave rubbish here that can make cats sick, or trap and hurt them.
00
[ ]Midnight's Den
The legendary badger named Midnight has long since gone from this place, but the DawnClan cats still call it Midnight's Den out of respect to her- and also partly because nobody can think of a better name. It's the only part of their territory not ruled over by Higher Cats, and the fact that they go there has to be kept strictly secret from Higher Cats, with DawnClan warriors often killing themselves rather than give up their Clan's last hope to the enemy. Above ground, it's a peaceful place, with lots of prey; but if you stumble onto the blowhole, you'll fall down a hole in the rock into Midnight's former cave. Depending on the tide, this may or may not involve you getting very, very wet.
00
[ ]The Big Thunderpath Border
The big Thunderpath marks the northern and northeastern borders of DawnClan territory. While NeverClan lies on the other side of the border, for most of it there's a Twolegplace between the two Clans. The Thunderpath is immeasurably dangerous and DawnClan warriors are not allowed to attempt to cross it except in emergencies.

[ ]Oak Forests
Former ThunderClan territory, the oak forests have thick undergrowth and lots of prey. They're cold most of the year, because the leaves shut out the sun, and many DuskClan warriors feel they could easily be trapped here; that said, it's easy to hide here, and the Clan spends much of its time here, hunting and sheltering.
00
[ ]Windy Hills
Former WindClan territory, the hills are full of rabbits and very open. Though it's difficult to hide here, it's very open and easy to run away from anything that threatens the DuskClan cats. Apprentices like to play tag here, and the medicine cats of DuskClan value the herbs that can be found here.
00
[ ]Shadow Forest
The Shadow Forest is much like NeverClan territory; full of pine trees, dark and foreboding, but with much thicker and more tangled undergrowth than NeverClan territory. A chunk of these woods make up the north of DuskClan territory, but the cats of DuskClan hate it here, and many will only go if ordered to patrol or train apprentices there. They keep it for only one reason; the darkness and thick undergrowth and mud make it very easy to hide here.
00
[ ]Evening Creek
Formerly known as the Moonstream, DuskClan cats renamed it when Higher Cats expressed their... disapproval of its old name. This tumbling stream has a few fish in, but not very many. It runs from the Moonpool, which DuskClan cats are forbidden by the Higher Cats to visit, down to the lake. In the days of the old Clans, it was the border between WindClan and ThunderClan. Its banks are prey-rich, full of herbs, and alternately very muddy and very rocky.

[ ]Squarestones
Squarestones, the former ThunderClan camp, is a huge square cut out of the earth. The sides are sheer rock, and apprentices sometimes die rushing over the edges. It's a comfortable place to take a quick rest from hunting or training, and occasionally DuskClan camps there for the night. It can be a little spooky, seeing the claw-marks and dens of cats long killed by the Higher Cats, but most of the DuskClan warriors put up with it- they've endured much worse, and the shelter and warmth of this place is always welcome.

[ ]Abandoned Twoleg Nest
A good place for prey and an excellent source of herbs. It has an ominous, empty feeling, and seems ready to fall down at any moment. The Clan rarely camps here, if ever, despite the shelter; the entire Clan hates it here. DuskClan apprentices are brought here to practise hiding in more unusual and unfamiliar environments, and to help medicine cats collect herbs.
00
[ ]The Lakeside
DuskClan territory extends all the way down to the side of the lake. Some DuskClan cats are able to swim, and enjoy paddling here. A more important use for this part of the territory is herbs; here is a great place to find several herbs. Apprentices play games here in the mud.
00
[ ]The Clearing Border
DuskClan's border with NeverClan is the same clearing and river as was once disputed between ThunderClan and ShadowClan. DuskClan territory goes up to the treeline, but doesn't extend into the clearing itself. DuskClan patrol this border, but patrols are ordered to retreat if NeverClan are here in force- NeverClan doesn't respect the border, often coming over to hunt, and DuskClan would rather deal with the resulting prey shortage than attacks from angry NeverClan warriors.

Border between: DuskClan and NeverClan
00
[ ]The Ridge Border
DuskClan territory ends at the ridge that separates lake territory from the lands beyond. From the top of the ridge, DuskClan cats can see almost all of ForeverClan territory. Apprentices like to challenge each other to race along it, especially since they aren't allowed; ForeverClan don't tend to have trouble enforcing borders. DuskClan cats occasionally enjoy watching the sunrise from here- it's a lovely view, even if it is a border.

[ ]The Tribe's Cavern
The Tribe was forced to abandon their old cavern behind the waterfall when they were made to give up their old territory. Instead, they inhabit a cave in a cliff under a rockfall near the edge of the mountains. Where the rocks have fallen from the mountains, they have piled up against the edge of the cliff, shielding the cave entrance. Cats will sit guard on the rocks; a small gap near the bottom provides entrance to the rockfall itself, which is a tangle of cracks, small gaps, and tunnels. Squeezing between the two largest boulders allows a cat to enter the large cave, where most of the Tribe lives and sleeps; there are also two other tunnels leading from that cave, one going to the kits' and kitmothers' dens, the other to the Cave of Whispering Water, where the Healer reads signs from the small waterfall and underground river there.
00
[ ]The Foothills
The mountains to the east of the territory do not flow smoothly downwards into the forests to the west. Boulders and rocky outcrops are scattered over the thin band of foothills, creating a tangle of slopes, miniature valleys and mountains, and short, dry grass. The mountain wind blows coldly over the area, but the Tribe's to-bes love to scramble around here.
00
[ ]The Elder Pool
The Elder Pool is the oldest part of Tribe territory. While the old Cavern is outside of the borders the Higher Cats set for the Tribe, the small, bubbling pool three waterfalls down from it is not. Out of all the places in Tribe territory, it's the part that's been in their territory the longest, being the only part of their current territory that was also in their old territory- hence its name, the Elder Pool. It's easy to drown if you fall in, but the area is pretty, and it's a clean, pure water source.
00
[ ]Squirrel Copse
The westernmost place worth mentioning in Tribe territory, this small copse of trees is separated from the main forest by just a few feet of space, putting it just inside Tribe land. This appears to be some kind of haven for squirrels- they love it here- and the Tribe doesn't generally have much of an idea how to hunt them.
00
[ ]The Great Summit
The Great Summit is the highest mountain to be within the Tribe's new territory. Tribe territory ends at its peak- on its other side is their former Cavern. The Tribe spends a lot of time here, hunting, training, and playing- it reminds them of the mountains. While none of them were born early enough to remember true mountains, all of the Tribe are raised to feel a wistfulness for the mountains; so this, the harshest, coldest and rockiest area of Tribe territory, is the place where the Tribe spend most of their daylight.
00
[ ]The Skycrack
The northernmost mountainside in the territory is split by a huge crack some eight metres deep, a great place to hunt birds- but the scattered rocks on the ground make it easy to twist an ankle, and it's a dark and spooky place. There's rumours- the Tribe don't like to be around here.
00
[ ]The Treeline Border
Tribe territory ends, in the west, at the treeline; where Tribe territory meets that of ForeverClan, it goes in a straight line from the treeline in the south-west up to Squirrel Copse.

[ ]The Island
Formerly a place of peace, where Clans gathered every full moon, this is now where Higher Cats punish cats who disobey their laws or rebel or are found to still believe in StarClan. Gatherings are still held here, but at the new moon, not the full; and there is no truce, nor guarantee of peace- Gatherings are mostly dominated by NeverClan, with other Clans sending only delegations, and being permitted to speak only if NeverClan feel like it.
00
[ ]The Little Twolegplace
Between DawnClan and NeverClan territory is a small Twolegplace. The Twoleg kits from here like to go and play in the lake in greenleaf. This place is also known to be home to kittypets and rogues in equal measure.

[ ]The Big Twolegplace
South-east of Clan territory, but easily inside the Higher Cats' land, is the biggest twolegplace in the area, known to its feline inhabitants as Dustcairn. It's home to quite a few gangs of rogues, and can be a rather vicious place, with hot, smoky, dusty streets, Twolegs and rats everywhere, and full of Thunderpaths and monsters. Some cats like it, though- the Clans just don't agree.

[ ]High Clearing
At the highest point in the sky, the Higher Cats have their meeting point. It's where they gather to talk and plan and train, as well as where they present new recruits before Tigerstar and Hawkfrost.
00
[ ]Place of Punishment
This is where the Higher Cats drag cats for punishment and torture. Cats can attempt to break into here in their dreams and rescue other cats, and indeed, breaking in is relatively easy- it's getting out again that's the problem. The Place of Punishment is a small island surrounded by a river too deep and fast for even cats able to swim to cross, and the only bridge is guarded by Higher Cat fighters and strange magic more ancient than any spirits- despair and suffering permeates the very sky here, and those who enter are often too drowned in inescapable sorrow to escape or resist.

[ ]The Lost Path
The Lost Path winds back on itself so many times, curling and intersecting and crossing itself, that it could be called a labyrinth. Only a few know the truth- it's just one path, doubling back and crossing itself many times as it meanders around. It's a truly dark place, full of mists and shifting shadows, and you can never see more than a metre or two in front of you. There is no prey, and no company; only the shifting shadows and utter silence. Cats can wander there for generations and never find their way out. It used to be the home of the Higher Cats; now that they have taken over the whole sky, it's used as a prison, as nobody ever finds their way out. Anybody who accidentally ends up here in a dream is likely to drive themselves mad before they have a chance to wake up. Put simply- the Lost Path is terrifying.
